Product Owner

We are partnering with a QLD icon peak industry body that operates with the ambition of a modern tech enterprise. Representing one of Queensland’s largest industries, they are looking for a true Product Owner to take the reins, maximize their current technology investments, and drive process efficiencies across the business.
In this role, you will truly own the product suite, managing an interconnected enterprise SaaS ecosystem (including CRM, LMS, and CMS) and driving strategic vendor partnerships. 

Your core focus will be on deep system optimization—mapping complex processes, documenting operational workflows, and unlocking the full potential of existing tech modules to ensure the business is operating at peak efficiency.
What you’ll be doing:

• Be the “Super User”: Own a mature, interconnected suite of external-facing platforms (LMS, CRM, CMS).
• Map & Optimize: Use your BA expertise to untangle undocumented workflows and translate them into testable requirements for external Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
• Unlock Capability: Dive deep into existing software packages to ensure the business is utilizing every module and feature to its absolute fullest potential.
• Centralize Data: Ensure data pipelines feed effectively into a centralized Data Lake for better reporting and operational efficiency.

What you bring to the table:

• Product Leadership: Proven experience overseeing a suite of digital products and directing external software vendors.
• BA Expertise: Strong ability to extract operational knowledge from business heads and map clear workflows.
• Tech Translation: Solid conceptual grasp of APIs, webhooks, and integrations (no coding required!).
• Optimization Mindset: A sharp eye for process improvement and a drive to get the most out of existing technology.
