We are partnering with a Global Technology Powerhouse to build out their mission-critical, hyper-scale facility in Eastern Creek.
If you spend your days physically racking servers, swapping out faulty motherboards, running fibre, and closing tickets under strict SLAs, this is your next long-term contract!
What you’ll be doing:
- Executing high-volume server rack-and-stack, physical hardware staging, and secure decommissioning.
- Performing rapid component-level break-fix and fault diagnosis (replacing system boards, CPUs, RAM, NICs, and HDD backplanes).
- Installing and troubleshooting structured cabling (Single-Mode/Multi-Mode Fibre and Copper) with immaculate cable management.
- Diagnosing hardware faults and clearing blocking issues within strict enterprise ticketing SLAs and Change Management rules.
- Working within a 24×7 rotating shift roster to provide mission-critical, zero-downtime site coverage.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Proven, recent experience working physically inside a Data Centre performing IT hardware deployments and break-fix.
- The ability to lift heavy enterprise equipment (18kg+) and comfortably work in physically demanding “hot aisle” environments.
- A valid Driver’s License and your own reliable transport.
- You must reside within a 60-minute drive of Eastern Creek, NSW to satisfy the mandatory on-call SLA.
What else is offered:
- Highly competitive hourly rate (Up to $56/hr incl. Super) + overtime and weekly penalty rates.
- Initial 6-month contract with strong potential to extend (project is scoped for 2+ years).
- All required PPE and White Card training compensated as required
