We are seeking an autonomous Dispute Resolution Specialist to act as the final escalation point for complex merchant and consumer disputes.

What you’ll be doing:
You will own the complaint lifecycle from initial escalation right through to IDR and EDR.

• Investigating, managing, and resolving escalated and complex customer and merchant disputes.
• Preparing detailed, logical, and well-explained External Dispute Resolution responses to AFCA, other dispute bodies, and consumer advocacy groups.
• Analysing complaint data, reporting on trends, and making recommendations to improve internal processes.
• Managing multiple high-complexity dispute cases simultaneously while ensuring fair outcomes under Australian and New Zealand regulatory law.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Proven background in Complaints Handling and External Dispute Resolution (AFCA/FDRS preferred).
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft detailed, logical, and comprehensive findings to external bodies.
• A comprehensive understanding of Australian and New Zealand business, compliance and regulatory law.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under time constraints to meet deadlines.
